FAB DT supports Buckie Community Lunches ….
…. by undertaking the administration, accounting and banking, and by members volunteering to shop, cook, serve and clear away.
Community lunches are run once a month in The Fishermen’s Hall and are provided free of charge with donations accepted to offset costs.
Everyone is welcome and many regular attendees come along to enjoy the tasty soups and sweets created by Dave the Chef while meeting old friends and making new ones.
In addition to the core of around 15 adult volunteers, these events have provided volunteering opportunities to pupils from Millbank Primary School and the Support for Learning department of Buckie Community High School.
A variety of agencies are invited along each month to promote their services at the event.
